TOGETHER WE ELECTRIFY
NISSAN INTELLIGENT POWER
As the world’s best-selling electric vehicle, Nissan LEAF is redefining the power you crave behind the wheel. LEAF beats just about any car off the line with 100% instant torque – and zero emissions. Proof that sustainable transportation doesn’t have to compromise the thrill of driving. Nissan’s leadership position in EVs means we’re committed to expanding our range of zero emission vehicles, bringing the unique pleasures of clean, quiet power to more and more people worldwide.
Nissan is continually researching and working to make our EV battery as advanced and efficient as possible. The new 3rd-generation 30 kWh battery with improved chemistry and greater power output has recently started production for the LEAF, while Nissan is also launching a new ‘Second Life’ battery recycling subsidiary.
2 BILLION AND COUNTING
With over 250,000 sold worldwide, it’s no surprise that you made Nissan LEAF the first EV to log 2 billion fully electric kilometres.
SMILE WHILE YOU DRIVE
LEAF owners know how easy it is to go electric. Plug it in overnight like your mobile, and wake up fully charged, ready to go. And with instant torque and agile handling built right in, LEAF is always a kick to drive. Of course, knowing that every drive makes the world a nicer place to be is just one more thing to smile about.
NISSAN E-NV200: ELECTRIFY YOUR BUSINESS
Of course an electric commercial vehicle can radically cut your costs – there’s no petrol to buy and far less maintenance. There are some surprises, too. The e-NV200 is so quiet and clean, for example, you can make nighttime residential deliveries and gain access to protected and indoor areas. Best of all, the most environmentally friendly mass-produced van on the market sends a great message to your customers – you’re smart, efficient, and looking forward to a bright future.
TOGETHER WE EMPOWER
NISSAN INTELLIGENT INTEGRATION
A connected ecosystem of drivers, cars, and communities is key to a cleaner and safer world. Nissan is playing a central role in defining what the roads of the future will look like, from autonomous cars to traffic management systems to car sharing. Seamless Autonomous Mobility (SAM), for example, is a system designed make autonomous cars smarter with every trip. It uses human mobility managers to help autonomous cars deal with the unexpected, like construction zones, then share what they have learned with other cars in the system – a case of human and artificial intelligence creating a sense of community on the road.
EV CHARGING STATIONS
As a leader in charging infrastructure, Nissan has more than 2300 quick charge stations in Europe, with this number predicted to reach 5500 by 2020. Nissan is committed to making sustainable driving as accessible as possible and is using a collaborative partnership approach with innovative companies.
VEHICLE TO GRID
Nissan is piloting the effectiveness of the vehicle to grid system (V2G) in different European cities, before a wider deployment all across Europe. As well as accessing renewable energy, drivers can connect their electric vehicles to the grid during cheap-tariff periods, and can use the electricity stored in the vehicle’s battery either at home, while driving, or even for selling back to the grid.
